Playfair Building

Due to the historic setting of our rooms and venues within the Playfair Building, AV capabilities can differ from room to room.

All rooms are equipped with a digital projector, laptop with applications, remote presenter, an audio system and internet access (excluding the Logan Turner and Fellows Library). Video-conferencing is also available in the majority of rooms. Surgeons' Hall also contains an internet cafe / business room that can be used for administrative purposes. It is equipped with nine internet connected computers, fax, photocopier and telephone.

Quincentenary Hall

This room has access to a telephone. Wireless internet access will be provided.

The Main Hall can be divided into two rooms - each offering full AV facilities.

Each seminar room has the following AV facilities:

  • DVD & VHS Player
  • Remote presenter (for wireless control of presentation)
  • PA System including 1 tie-clip mic; 1 handheld mic

The rooms have access to a telephone. Wireless internet access will be provided.

Video-conferencing facility are readily available via Seminar Room B, but all other rooms can support this facility if required.

A professional conferencing system is available for up to 50 delegates - this consists of microphones for each delegate and a chairman's control system

ALL AUDIO-VISUAL EQUIPMENT IS CHARGED INDIVIDUALLY AS REQUIRED.
